Minor kidnapped, raped for four and a half months
The police on Sunday arrested four accused in a case of kidnapping and rape of a 14-year-old girl from Stationpura village under Endori police station of Bhind district.
According to the police, two men -- Kadam Singh, 45, a government primary school teacher, and Ramveer, 50 - kidnapped the girl in the third week of March and raped her for several days and also shot videos of the act to exploit her further.
Two women -- Saraswati and Guddibai -- were also involved in the kidnapping.
The girl was later sent to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with Vijay Jatav, a youth from the same village.
Gohad sub divisional officer of police, Praveen Ashthana on Sunday said that Saraswati was responsible for calling the girl to her house where Kadam Singh and Ramveer were present, following which they kidnapped her.
On March 21, the victim's mother lodged a kidnapping case against Vijay Jatav.
The police then registered a case and started investigation, and later apprehended Guddibai, who disclosed that the kidnapped girl was in Ahmedabad.
Endori police reached Ahmedabad on August 3 and recovered the girl from a factory. However, Jatav fled the scene before he could be caught.
The victim, in her statement to the police, said that she was sexually exploited for four and a half months. She also said that she was taken to Gwalior and kept in a room and raped for several days, after which she was taken to Ahmedabad by Vijay Jatav.
The police got medical tests conducted on the victim and have arrested the accused Kadam Singh, Ramveer, Saraswati, and another youth Ravi, 19, on Sunday. Guddibai had been arrested earlier.
Two of the accused -- Shivkumar and Vijay Jatav -- are still absconding.
